Ingredients:
- 14 cups melted butter
- a third of a cup dark brown sugar
- 12 tablespoons rum
- a 12 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 teaspoons cinnamon powder
- 3 bananas, peeled and sliced crosswise and lengthwise
- 14 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
- 1-gallon vanilla ice cream
Directions
In a large, deep skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Combine the sugar, rum, vanilla, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl. When the mixture starts to bubble, add the bananas and walnuts to the pan. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the bananas are hot. Serve immediately over vanilla ice cream.
